CLE ELUM-ROSLYN, Wash. -- A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday for Swiftwater Cellars located in the Suncadia Mountain Resort.
Swiftwater Cellars which overlooks the Rope Rider golf course, features a restaurant and events facility.
Frank Chopp, speaker of the Washington State House of Representatives, Cle Elum mayor Charles Glondo and Roslyn mayor Jeri Porter also attended Friday's ceremony.
Founder, Don Watts who started up Watts Brothers Farming and Frozen Foods in Kennewick, is a 30 year veteran of the agriculture industry. He and his wife, Lori, along with the next generation of family are managing Swiftwater Cellars.
The winery features a 360-degree bar and a two-story stone fireplace. Guests can dine in the Hoist House Restaurant and additional private dining areas.
Swiftwater Cellars has a 2,500 total case production with plans to increase up to 7,000 cases in the future. The winery will be open daily from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. To make reservations for dining and special events you can call (509) 674-6555.
